Well, we've made it at last. 2001 is finally here, and hopefully I will never again have to listen to arguments as to when precisely the Millennium actually starts! I hope you all had a cheerful Christmas and New Year, with not too many coughs and colds around. I know that bugs have been going round recently: one person at our family Christmas table was in a terrible state for a whole week: he's now on the mend, but he's kindly given it to his wife. survived it, and now we've got a whole new year ahead of us. And so has the Club Theatre. You'll find more detailed articles scattered about this newsletter about forthcoming events, but I would like to briefly mention the next play Party Pieces, from January 21st to 27th, directed by John Powell. Also Val's Choir the Dunham Massey Singers are back with us in February, which will be delightful. Lots of other things too, but I'm running out of space in this column! So.
